Slowly

A photo from home. This is Hannah with the neighbours' hamster.
(Note the little hamster tongue!)

"We must go slowly. We don't have much time." That's what Carolyn McDade said during a singing workshop that she lead in Edmonton in the spring. I like the contrast in this statement, and it suits me well today. I've been walking, walking, walking in this hilly city by the sea taking everything in. Now my ankles and shins are sore and I'm fully whelmed. So it's time for some rest.

oh my goodness, what a sweet hamster! i'm happy to be on your blog, too :). i really love that carolyn mcdade quote- such important wisdom. i'm glad to hear that you are feeling whelmed, and you seem to be peaceful within that.

love,
