Things that I’m looking forward to this fall…
Riding my bike until the snow stays on the ground permanently
Feeding birds in the forest, and feeling their solid weight as they land on my hand
Regular-ish work hours
Drawing and painting
Long, cozy evenings
Turning twenty-six
Pottery each week at the Edmonton Potters’ Guild
Walking in the river valley and seeing the leaves change colour
The abundance at the farmers’ markets at this time of year
Wearing mittens and my ear-flap tuque again soon
