Good things

Sage is a hopeful plant. It grows in the desert with softness and a calming smell.

Here's a list of many good things...

On the bus:
Hearing preschool children speaking a mix of languages.

In the mail:
Receiving a letter from myself that I wrote in April.

In a mug:
Earl grey tea mixed with dried lavender flowers
(with milk and brown sugar too).

Down the street:
Being able to walk to work.

Under my jacket:
Shirts with buttons.

In conversation:
Being an official interviewee.

From a wise one:
Education towards peace.

In the fridge:
Apricot jam.

On the town:
Using the colour photocopier at Staples.

On my desk:
New paints.

On the way:
Seeing friends from my neighbourhood on the bus.

In collaboration:
Weaving colourful ribbons.
